"During his 2008 campaign, President Obama identified his greatest weakness as disorganization: “I need to have good people in place who can make sure that systems run.” For nearly five years, one of the people who helped make those systems run was Henry De Sio, who served as deputy assistant to the president for management and administration, and before that as the chief operating officer for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

De Sio, 48, left the White House on Friday to restart Way Forward Strategies, a management and communications consulting firm he had largely mothballed to go work for Obama’s campaign in February 2007, when Hillary Clinton was considered the prohibitive favorite for the Democratic nomination and Obama’s campaign was still a relatively intimate affair."
